Absolutely a must! Went with a tour bus which seems the best way to go. Timing is everything. We went in August. The Road to the Sun was open and we went on the Red Jammer Tour. Every direction was picture perfect. We lucked out with blue skies and great temps.
Words cannot express the beauty of this area. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was breathtaking. We had a 2, a 9 and an 11 year child with us so we did the Going to the Sun Road and took advantage of the stops available on the road. We took some shorter hikes and enjoyed all of it. Can’t wait to go back and complete more lengthy & off the road trails when they are older!
By far the best national park in our system. Everywhere you go, the views are amazing and vast. Did a couple of day hikes, all kinds of weather, wildlife and nature at its finest. IT car get crowded and its a hassle trying to get your GTSR pass, but its all worth it. I only spent two days there but could have easily doubled that.
Murchison Falls National park was a wonderful experience. The "Sun Road" is a little tough if you do not like heights and narrow roads. We had wonderful hikes and saw wildlife. There is a shuttle service which does have some long waits. Avalanche Lake hike was a favorite.
fantastic experience...Never seen a reindeer herd in my life.....Highly knowledgeable guides, happy to clarify any questions ..Highly recommended
What an awesome park! Gorgeous views, great trails-simply amazing!! Our first day was the first day without Going to the Sun Rd reservations, and the park was quite busy. Regardless, we had a wonderful time!
